11th PANHELLENIC CONFERENCE ON ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE &
3rd MEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE ON NEURODEGENERATIVE DISEASES
PICAD & MeCoND 14-17 February 2019
Dear friends and colleagues,
Ageing is a global phenomenon. The number of people affected by some kind of dementia progressively increases. However, a plethora of sciences contribute differently to a different field in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, but mainly to the prevention of those factors which make old age and related diseases the most difficult period of a person’s life.
We are, thus, pleased to invite you to the 11th Panhellenic Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease and the 3rd Mediterranean Conference on Neurodegenerative Diseases, which will take place on 14-17 February 2019 in Thessaloniki at the Grand Hotel Palace. This is more than an invitation; it is a challenge for a great scientific celebration.
The conference is organized by the 1st Department of Neurology (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), the Panhellenic Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases and the Greek Association of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders. As it has been the case for eighteen years, this long-established conference will bring together distinguished scientists from Greece and around the world to inform and educate health professionals, patients and caregivers.
The fact that hundreds of speakers and many more participants have honoured all our previous attempts demonstrates that it is not only necessary but also desirable for scientists involved in neurodegenerative diseases to get together, investigate causes and treatment, exchange potential progress in all scientific fields, and ultimately serve the patient and the caregiver.
We invite you to be an active member of this event, contribute in your own unique way towards a complete organization, making it all the more fruitful and successful.
We very much look forward seeing you next February in Thessaloniki!
